A Babymoon in Vegas? Things To Do In Las Vegas When Pregnant

That’s exactly what my husband and I did when I was 17 weeks pregnant, and we had a wonderful time! So, if you’re looking for ideas on how you can plan a babymoon in Vegas when pregnant, I’m here to help.

Things To Do In Vegas When Pregnant

From the lights of the Strip to the sizzling Vegas nightlife, the seductive allure of Vegas can make the average traveler swoon. But, when you’re pregnant, your plans need to extend beyond the typical partying, gambling, and other traditional Vegas activities.

To make sure you’re doing Vegas the safe and comfortable way, I’m here to unlock the secrets of traveling while pregnant in Las Vegas, so that you can have the best vacation and create lasting memories of your wild child days before parenthood.

Las Vegas offers one of the best babymoon experiences in the United States. With its world-class resorts boasting luxurious suites, spas, restaurants and shopping, the city has something to offer everyone. The variety of shows, entertainment, and activities means that you can customize your Las Vegas babymoon and tailor it to your own needs.

Discount & Designer Shopping

Like any impromptu trip to Vegas, part of the experience is hitting the shops! Shopping is a great way to pamper yourself and find some great buys for the baby.

When shopping for maternity clothes, the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood offer stylish options with convenient locations within the Strip. There’s also the Fashion Show mall on the north end of the Strip for American and international brands, and two Premium Outlet malls for some designer bargains.

And last but certainly not least, indulge in some retail therapy at the city’s top shopping spots. From Le Boulevard in Paris to Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, and Grand Canal Shoppes at Venetian, you can find something special to treat yourself with during your visit.

Pregnancy Massage and Pampering

Pregnancy can be stressful so why not treat yourself (and your baby) by indulging in some pampering? My pregnancy massage at MGM Grand Spa was the perfect way to relax after a few hours of shopping and sightseeing.

And while I couldn’t use the sauna or steam room, I was happy to spend some time enjoying the lounge before it was my turn to bliss out. From prenatal massages to facials, to prenatal pedicures, you’ll be able to find something to suit your needs.

Have A Romantic Dinner

If you’re looking for a more luxurious experience, head over to one of the city’s many celebrity chef restaurants. Critically acclaimed chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and Joël Robuchon, Michelin Star chefs like Guy Savoy and the eccentric TV chef Bobby Flay all have restaurants on the strip.

From traditional five-star steakhouses to authentic dim sum, Italian dishes to fine French cuisine and beyond, you won’t be disappointed by what Las Vegas has to offer.

For those who are more health conscious, there are plenty of vegan options as well as a variety of locally sourced ingredients featuring in many local eateries. Whatever your taste buds are craving for, you’ll be sure to find something delicious in Las Vegas!

See a Show

There may be some late nights spent at casinos and nightclubs that have to be avoided while pregnant, but the world-class shows are all still on the table. On my date night out, I experienced Mariah Carey at Caesars Palace and I loved every minute of it. Huge artists are always playing residencies in Vegas so check the concert schedules on a regular basis.

For an even more incredible show, my husband and I took in “O” by Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. With its remarkable acrobatics and water features, I was truly blown away. Check out what’s on during your stay for even more spectacular Vegas entertainment.

For those times when you just want to sit back and take it all in, there are plenty of places to watch the spectacle of Las Vegas. Notable highlights include the Bellagio fountain show, the Eiffel Tower observation deck, and the High Roller Observation Wheel.

Do Some Sightseeing

If you’re looking for something to do in Las Vegas that doesn’t involve a casino, you’re in luck. There are plenty of other activities to enjoy while you’re pregnant.

Las Vegas has some amazing nearby attractions that can be visited on a tour, like Food tours of the Strip, a Reality TV Tour or a short trip to Hoover Dam. You can also visit nearby Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire or the Grand Canyon to see some of the natural beauty that Las Vegas is known for.

If you’re feeling less active, there are plenty of indoor attractions to see. The Neon Museum, Mob Museum, the Bellagio Conservatory and the Highroller are all popular choices.

Lounge By The Pool

If you’re looking for a more relaxed activity, soak up the sun at some of Las Vegas’s lavish pools, including Mandalay Beach, The Mirage Pool, and Garden of the Gods at Caesars Palace. Catching a little Vitamin D while relaxing with a Mocktail will definitely leave you feeling refreshed.

Final Thoughts On An Amazing Babymoon In Las Vegas

Las Vegas can be the perfect destination for pregnant women who want to experience the sights and sounds of one of the world’s most iconic cities. While there are certain safety considerations to keep in mind, Las Vegas offers a wealth of exciting attractions and activities that will make for a special and memorable visit.

With all of the unique offerings and accommodations specifically tailored to expecting mothers, Las Vegas is the ideal place to indulge, relax, and create lasting memories before the baby arrives.
