Review of Circa Resort & Casino

Our trip to get to the Circa Resort and Casino can only be summed up in one word, challenging! The I-15 which is the major expressway that runs parallel to the Las Vegas Strip and takes you to Downtown Las Vegas happened to be experiencing major construction and major traffic.

Upon getting to the check in desk we expressed what a nightmare it was to get to the hotel because of the traffic and the person at the check in desk said he was going to make our trip worth it. He just said to give him a call and let him know how we liked our room.

Smooth Check-in Process

We found the check-in process to be incredibly smooth and efficient. Check-in time officially starts at 3 PM, but the staff makes every effort to accommodate guests as soon as they arrive.

This flexibility is a huge plus for travelers eager to start their Vegas adventure without delay.

For those hoping to get into their rooms earlier, requesting an early check-in is an option. While it’s not guaranteed due to room availability, the front desk personnel go out of their way to meet guest needs whenever possible.

First Impression of the Hotel and Room

Stepping into Circa Resort and Casino, we immediately noticed the blend of mid-century and art deco influences in its design. These elements create a visually appealing environment that sets the tone for an exceptional experience.

Upbeat music plays constantly throughout the two story casino and can seem loud at first but the atmosphere feels both glamorous and inviting, capturing the essence of what makes staying at an adults-only hotel in Las Vegas unique.

Now the room – when we had initially made our reservation we had booked a Single King so we could provide a fair comparison to other rooms we had stayed at Downtown. 

Without knowing we were posting an article reviewing the hotel, John at the check-in desk had upgraded us to the Sunrise Suite to make up for the hassle we had experienced getting to the hotel.

The suite was split up into a sitting area with a couch, several chairs and large flat screen TV, a dining/bar area, the bathroom and also a separate bedroom.

Upon opening the automatic blinds the floor to ceiling windows revealed amazing views on three sides of the suite. The most dramatic was a view of the strip all lit up and waiting for us to explore.

While everyone won’t be staying in a suite, while doing our research prior to booking, we noticed that the spacious rooms, cleanliness and customer service were three things that kept popping up in the reviews.

The diverse restaurant options within Circa ensured we never had to leave the hotel searching for good food. From breakfast through dinner, there was always something new and exciting to try.

With its adult-only policy, largest sportsbook, and myriad dining options, it caters to those seeking a sophisticated yet entertaining stay.

Despite some noted drawbacks like delayed check-ins or weak internet, the positives such as spacious rooms, cleanliness and attentive service significantly tip the scales. For an experience that combines luxury with fun in a classic setting, Circa remains my pick for the top hotel in Downtown Las Vegas.
